QUARTZ DENTAL are experts with IPS e.max all-ceramic system

The IPS e.max all-ceramic system covers all indications ranging from thin veneers to full mouth reconstructions. Restorations made of CAD/CAMIPS e.max demonstrate both high esthetics and high strength.

There are Many Factors to Consider
Desired shade outcome, Instant orthodontics, closing spaces, black triangles ,crown lengthening, Gummy tucks, “Golden Poportions”,Stump shades and discoloration, techniques and materals to be used is all too important and needs to be discussed for success. Consult with Quartz Dental about your next case! We over 18 years of experience that you can count on to ensure the best possible outcome for your patient/s.

IPS e-max (Lithium Disillicate) - is the newest porcelain capable of being bonded to a tooth and is much stronger than other porcelains, approxamatly twice as strong, therefore more resistant to chipping. This is an excellent choice for severe bruxers and grinders. Currently manufactures are creating more natural colors to be meet the demands of esthetics in the anterior region, “The Smile Zone”. This material can be both pressed and CAD/CAM technology milled. Creating the unique optical techniques makes a perfect fit …for strength, precision and aesthetics. Beautiful, durable all ceramic restorations crafted by a leader in Comprehensive Aesthetic and Implant Dentistry Can be adhesively bonded or conventionally cemented

Operators may choose the suitable all-ceramic material in accordance with the indication and the required strength. For all single-tooth restorations in the anterior and posterior region, lithium disilicate (LS2) is the material of choice for highly esthetic results. For larger restorations, such as posterior bridges that are subject to high masticatory stress, restorations supported with the IPS e.max ZirCAD zirconium oxide ceramic are indicated. In combination with lithium disilicate (LS2), the innovative IPS e.max CAD-on technique now also permits the fabrication of up to 4-unit posterior bridges with outstanding overall strength and highly esthetic appearance.

The material is used in the dental laboratory in conjunction with either the press or the CAD/CAM technology. Given the high strength of 360-400 MPa, the restorations offer flexible cementation options. Depending on the patient situation, the restorations may be veneered in a highly esthetic manner or, if fabricated as monolithic restorations, stained.

Even if the preparations demonstrate a dark shade (e.g. as a result of discolouration or titanium abutments), all-ceramic restorations may be fabricated. Inform your laboratory about the die shade and the dental technicians then selects the IPS e.max lithium disilicate material in the required opacity in order to redesign the true-to-nature esthetic appearance.

Quartz Dental's advanced dental lab technology
Quartz dental's technology provides new levels of productivity and power. With Quartz Dental's inLab MC XL milling unit and CAD/CAM options we can produce perfect, full-contour crowns in as little as 6 minutes.

CAD/CAMThe inLab MC XL features a modern, elegant design with solid, heavy-duty construction.  Milling performance and precision has been optimized to +/- 25 microns.  The tandem burs now spin at 60,000 RPM resulting in considerably faster milling times - approximately 6 minutes for a full-contour crown.

Quartz Dental's inLab, CAD/CAM system covers a wide range of indications from inlays, onlays and crowns to multiple-unit bridges. This state-of-the-art CAD/CAM miraculously combines cutting-edge technology with precision craftsmanship. The Lee Culp Tooth Anatomy Library found in the new inLab software provides users with the meticulous detail lab technicians have come to expect from one of the world's most respected authorities on natural tooth anatomy. Essentially, inLab is a system developed by lab technicians for dental lab technicians.

Indications

  • Thin veneers (0.3 mm)
  • Minimally invasive inlays and onlays
  • Partial crowns and crowns EMAX
  • Implant superstructures
  • 3-unit anterior/premolar bridges (only IPS e.max Press)
  • 3-unit bridges (zirconium-oxide supported only IPS e.max CAD)

The highlights

  • True-to-nature shade behaviour for highly esthetic solutions
  • Durable restorations due to the high strength
  • Minimally invasive preparation for treatment that is gentle to the tooth structure
  • Versatile use and comprehensive range of indications
  • Lifelike esthetics, irrespective of the shade of the preparation
  • Adhesive, self-adhesive or conventional cementation depending

Careful preparation is decisive for the accuracy of fit and durability of the restoration.

Precise marginal design with a circular shoulder or a chamfer preparation with rounded inner edges is important. Avoid sharp transitions and feather edges. Adhesive cementation permits defect-oriented preparation.

In order to achieve sufficiently strong restorations, the minimum thicknesses have to be observed. With the IPS e.max system, the recommended areas of indication, preparation recommendations and connector strength values for the material used (LS2 or ZrO2) have to be observed.

Quartz Dental utilizes the newest technologies such as the IPS EmpressI to bring you the best possible restorations.
